Medical Heritage Foundation
The mission of the Medical Heritage Foundation is to provide community education and ensure a sustainable pipeline of future physicians.
The Medical Heritage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) affiliate of the county medical society.
In keeping with its mission of supporting medical education, the Foundation has provided more than $40,000 in financial support to the medical community since its founding in 2007. Grants have provided support for community medical education through an annual medical/legal seminar; for students to attend conferences that enable them to further their education, and meet colleagues and mentors; and, most significantly, for an annual scholarship award to a third-year medical student.
How to apply:
Deadline is October 31, 2023. Applicants are required to submit a brief essay on why they should be awarded the scholarship, most recent transcripts and a letter of referral from their medical school.
